
The comparative market value (CMA) of your home prepared by The Stott Team will be based upon Multiple Listing Service (MLS) records from the Honolulu Board of Realtors and online records from the state tax office. We use the tax office records to determine the size of the home and the lot (if applicable) and then compare your home to recent sales of similar properties from MLS data. The CMA will be done from our office without doing a drive-by. We do not visit the property nor make any contact with the tenant/occupant without specific permission in advance from the owner.
If desired, we can set up an automated update for you. Our MLS has a feature that searches each night for new sales, listings, price changes and openings of escrow and then automatically sends an e-mail of applicable information to whomever we have designated. We'll narrow the search parameters to properties very similar to yours to keep you from being inundated with e-mails. The benefit to you is you will now be able to keep yourself continually apprised as to what is happening to the value of your property.
