 This section provides resource information for those individuals desiring to search for rentals and/or rental rates on the Internet. As this is being written, the rental market on Oahu is very tight with good rentals often being rented within days of becoming available. Therefore, if I were on Oahu searching for an actual rental, I would go to the classifieds of The Honolulu Advertiser first, then to the classifieds of the Honolulu Star Bulletin and then to Rentals Illustrated. The two daily newspapers have more current information than the bi-weekly Rentals Illustrated. If I were searching in advance of arrival for typical rentals and/or trying to determine a fair market rental rate, I would go to Rentals Illustrated first and then to the two newspapers and last to the Honolulu Board of Realtors.
Rentals Illustrated - This bi-weekly publication contains photographs and other information on available rentals.
Advertiser - The Honolulu Advertiser is the morning newspaper
Star Bulletin - The Honolulu Star Bulletin is the evening newspaper.
Board of Realtors - The Honolulu Board of Realtors website lists some of the rentals that are available.
